Dances are held at the Old Gregg School Community Center in Spring Mills. For
2010, each dance will be preceded by a dance lesson workshop from 6:30 PM to
7:30 PM. Workshop admission is $10 per person. Dances are held from 8-10:30 PM
and light refreshments are provided. Dance admission is $10 per person
and you are encouraged to bring your favorite appetizers, Hors d'oeuvres,
snacks, desserts, or finger foods to share! Attire for dances is as noted below,
but always feel free to dress-up if you so desire!

About Dances
We offer a Dance Party each month, which
embraces both the beginner and more advanced dancer. We use carefully
selected, proper tempo, recorded music with a nice variety of Swing, Ballroom and Latin
styles, with requested songs always welcome!
All regular dances are scheduled to be held at the Spring Mills Community
Center. The Old Gregg School facility provides ample parking, a large wood dance
floor, and large restrooms. This venue is easily appropriate for up to 100 dancers. My studio,
although fine for lessons has become too small for dances. As for attire, we recommend
nice casual (no jeans) attire for our dances, but feel free to dress up if you so desire!
For our Holiday Dance, we recommend semi-formal attire. My Dance Parties
are
open to both lesson takers and the public, which affords not only
an inspiring display from dancers from throughout the region, but a progressive
Social Dance opportunity for the learning dancer. Admission $10 per
person - Recorded Music by Kevin Fee, Dance Harmony - Pot Luck Appetizers, Hors
d'oeuvres, snacks, dessert - Bring your favorite finger food! - All in a relaxed
non-smoking & non-alcoholic environment! |
